A blues based singer-songwriter with music influences ranging from Eric Clapton to Jackson Browne.  Bruce has appeared onstage at NYC, NJ & CA venues for over three decades, including performances with members of Paul McCartney’s Wings, The Ian Hunter Rant Band & Tower of Power, to name a few. His music & session guitar work has been heard on national TV shows, commercials and album releases including DownTown Mystic, Perpetual Boy and two solo releases.  In 2005, he paired up with DownTown Mystic’s Robert Allen, releasing two CD’s, “Rock ‘N’ Roll 4 the Soul” (2006) & “Read the Signs” (2007). The song, “One More Chance,” co-written by Allen & Engler, received extensive radio play and continues to be one of their most popular downloads.

In 2012, Bruce released “Go Back,” a collection of songs featuring former Wings drummer Steve Holley, Ian Hunter bassist Paul Page, DownTown Mystic guitarist/vocalist Robert Allen and several other guest musicians. Available on iTunes and Amazon.

In December of 2013, Bruce released “Hudson River Anthology”, an album featuring a number of guest musicians.  Available on iTunes and CD Baby.
